Former President Trump thanked Congress Wednesday morning for unanimously approving more money to the Secret Service in the wake of multiple assassination attempts on his life.

The former president shared his message on social media pointing out that there are “big threats” on his life by Iran, which he said have thus far failed, but knows that “they will try again.”

The failed assassination attempt on July 13 at Trump’s Pennsylvania rally and the failed assassination attempt on September 15 on Trump’s Florida golf course together show the critical need for an elite and large security force to always surround the former President.

“I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before,” Trump wrote, grateful to have the additional protection.

Trump warned that “an attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!”

Taking notice of a rare moment, Trump praised Congress for the bipartisan effort writing, “Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something.”

Despite the assassination attempts on Trump’s life, the former President and Republican nominee has vowed to stay in the fight for the White House, not wavering on his promise to the American people to make their lives better.
